What's new in 2015 at Crescent City Brewhouse

Posted on: January 6, 2015 | Posted in: News

One of our owner's and Brewmaster, Wolf Koehler, would like to announce that our current Brewer, Ryan Woodfill, has been promoted to Head Brewer recently. Congratulations to Ryan!

We will also have 3 new Special Brews coming out in the first 3 months of this year. Their names and descriptions are as follows:

Holiday Bock (January) – Deep brown in color. A traditional version of a German winter lager. Rich, clean, malty and sparsely hopped.

Creole Alt (January and February) – Copper ale with a clean malty backbone, just a slight hint of fruitiness. Although an ale, it is matured longer at cold temperatures, similar to lagers. This aging gives it a clean, crisp finish.

Imperial Pilsner (March) – A bigger, stronger version of our blonde lager. Expect a more pronounced malt and hop flavor. Generously dry hopped with German noble hops.

We hope you can make it by soon to these out these exceptional beers!
